I have a huge respect for the artistic process and after  more then 30 years as a professional artist I have never lost the passion for painting, sculpting and writing nor the appreciation of the great work done by so many artisans in my community and abroad. 

Most days I can’t wait to get into the studio to work but sometimes I have days when I worry that whatever I do will not meet my own expectations. On such days even making the smallest mark scares me.

 

I often hear friends talk about their retirement plans and I thank God that I don’t have to worry about that. I never want to stop making art.
